An Unreliable Guide to XKB Configuration

This is a guide over the shoals of configuring the X Keyboard Extension (XKB).

XKB is very powerful and flexible, but has practically no formal documentation on how to configure it. This stuff isn't likely to change things. But it might help. The guide is available in the following formats:
